A notice has been posted on-site recently in which the developers outline their proposal to the City of Cape Town for approval of a 60m tower comprising a basement and 19 floors. An allowance of 6m has been requested for roof features. The proposed office floor area is 9 500 sqm and a total of 308 parking bays are proposed for the basement level and 8 floors of dedicated parking. Estimated completion is expected to be mid-2013, and construction could begin as early as November 2011 if all the necessary approvals are in place. The tower will host office space for the prominent law firm Bowman Gilfillan.
